Paul said in Romans 7 that he had discovered a "principle of life" that when he wanted to do what was right he did what was wrong despite his love for God and the laws of God. Paul recognized that there was another "power" within him that was at war with his mind. A power which Paul said made him "a slave to the sin that was still within him." He acknowledged that because of his sinful nature he was a slave to sin. This clearly speaks to the impact our "nature" which is our basic inherent features/characteristic from our bloodline. This is true of our physical and spiritual nature.
The struggle is real and can cause us to become discouraged but as we “look back” in our bloodline we identify the weaknesses and patterns that may lead us to commit the same cycle of sin or similar that our forefathers have done. God is such a gracious God that all may not be reveal all at once. So we re-examine our bloodlines and life as the Holy Spirit leads as we strive for righteousness in Christ.
When we identify and renounce the transgression and iniquities of the bloodline through the deliverance process we live free as the strong holds are broken and the spirit, soul and body do not struggle
