As God prepared Joshua to lead the Israelites into the promise land in Joshua 1:1-9; God spoke to Joshua and confirmed His faithfulness to the promise He made to Moses which bears witness to the fact that God is a covenant keeping God and he does not forget; sometimes in life we are tempted to think God has forgotten us; but he has not.
The promises God has given you will come to pass he is not slow as some may think 2 Peter 3:9; it’s a process and God wants us to be able to maintain that which he gives us.
Have you notice that when the Israelites murmured and complained God did not change His mind and say I will find another group of people to bless; no instead he kept them in the wilderness and purged them of what was hindering them; I am not saying that they were prefect when they came out of the wilderness but God extended Grace; it was time to stop going around in circles and move forward.
Every non-productive cycle in your life shall be broken; every stagnation and demonic pause will be broken by the word of God. We are pushing pass the blockages and barriers and Limits; we will run troops and leap over walls because God is teaching our fingers to fight, and we must fight!!
God is calling his people to be armed with knowledge and to effectively use the Sword of the Spirit which is His word to defeat the enemy. It is now more than ever before to speak the Promises of God over our lives and pray the WORD and God will watch over it to perform it in our lives.

When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is long suffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9 salvation patience conversion
Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised; Hebrews 10:23 reliability hope acknowledging
Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. 2 Corinthians 7:1 purification holiness awe
Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.1 Thessalonians 5:24 calling reliability Word of God
Know therefore that the Lord thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations. Deuteronomy 7:9
