When the children of God rise up to pray at midnight satanic bondage and limitations are broken. No stronghold of the enemy over our lives can resist persistent and prolonged midnight prayer. “The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” James 5:16
Midnight prayer is more than a routine for the believer; it is a mystery and it is by the understanding of such that as it is practice the miraculous takes place.
1. The activities of the enemies are terminated by midnight prayer. Mid-night is the time the enemy makes plans against the people of God; when we pray at midnight we sabotage and directly intercept their plans and scatter them before execution.
2. Praying at midnight invite divine encounters with heaven for the believer. Jacob knew this and he had an uncommon encounter that changed him.
3. Midnight prayer is a sign of spiritual maturity and “taking by force.” Believers who want to see the kingdom of God manifest on earth engage in mid night prayer.
4. Midnight prayer is intentional and brings uncommon access and interaction with God uninterrupted.
When you come to a place in your life when enough is enough; you engage in midnight prayer! When you are convicted that God will deliver you; you engage in mid-night prayer and worship.
Paul and Silas prayed and sang hymns to God at mid-night. Their prayer caused an earthquake, and the prison was shaken to its foundations. All the doors flew open and the chains of every prisoner fall off!" Acts 16: 25 - 26.
At midnight, Samson arose with renewed strength and took hold of the city gate and the two posts and pulled them up along with the bars; then he put them on his shoulders and carried them up to the top of the mountain which is opposite Hebron. Judges 16:3
At mid-night Ruth was discovered by Boaz at his feet. Ruth 3:8
The Psalmist vow that at midnight he will rise and praise God, because of His righteous judgements. Psalm 119:62
MIDNIGHT PRAYER POINTS.
Lord as I rise to give you praise at mid-night may every prison door in my life open.
Let every covenant and altar against my live be destroyed now in Jesus Name.
Lord let every sin in my life be erase by the blood of the Lamb in Jesus Name.
Let every power prolonging stagnancy in my life, die, in the name of Jesus.
Let every power prolonging poverty in my life, die, in the name of Jesus.
Let every power that wants to waste my destiny, die, in the name of Jesus.
Let every arrow fired into my head to come out now, in the name of Jesus.
Lord let the anointing for divine strength fall upon me to break every yoke of delay in my life, in the name of Jesus.
Lord Let your divine judgement fall upon my enemies.
Power of stagnancy in my life, hear the word of God and die, in the name of Jesus.
Every stronghold keeping me in the same spot die, in the name of Jesus.
You, power of failure, frustration and backwardness, die, in the name of Jesus.
Lord let my divine Jonathan and Boaz locate me in Jesus Name.
Lord cause me to walk in obedience and receive divine favour in Jesus Name. Amen
