Men ought always to pray

Updated: Jun 10, 2022

On one occasion, when Jesus' disciples asked Him to teach how to pray, he said "that men ought always to pray, and not to faint; "Luke 18:1 in other words, we should pray and not give up!

Jesus demonstrated what he meant by sharing a parable; Jesus said, "In a certain town there was a judge who neither feared God nor cared what people thought. And there was a widow in that town who kept coming to him with the plea, Grant me justice against my adversary. The widow was persistent, and eventually, the unjust just judge granted her a favorable verdict.

As Jesus encouraged His disciples to remain steadfast and faithful in prayer, He reminded them that God will bring about justice speedily for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night.

Declaration:

May God speedily grant you justice against your adversary.
