First Prayer Watch: Prayer Decrees

Prayer decrees for this prayer watch:

Father, thank you for Your Son Jesus Christ, “for in him we live, and move, and have our being; and we are Your children." (Acts 17:28)

He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon Him, and with his stripes, we are healed. (Isaiah 53:5)

Father as we reconsecrate ourselves to you, we declare that we “are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, Your special people, that we may proclaim the praises of Him who called us out of darkness into His marvellous light.” (1 Peter 2:9).

He who was rich became poor so that we who were poor might become rich. Through Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour we are redeemed from the curse and are joint heirs of the Abrahamic covenant blessings. (Galatians 3:26, 27, 29).

Father, we confess our sins and we are thankful that you are “faithful and just to forgive us and purify us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9).

Lord as You established us in your righteousness, renew Your covenant with us and put Your laws into our minds, and write them on our hearts. You are our God and we are your people. (Hebrews 8:10).

Father, Your Word is like a lamp that guides our steps and a light that shows the path we should take. (Psalm 119:105). Your word sustains us; they are food to our hungry soul. Your Word brings joy to our heart and we hid it in our heart so that we might not sin against you (Jeremiah 15:16; Psalm 119:11).

Father, we are established in Your righteousness; we are far from oppression, we will not fear, and terror will not come near us. No weapon formed against us shall prosper; (Isaiah 54:14-17) wealth and riches shall be in our houses; (Psalm 112:3),Your favour Lord shall always surround us as a shield, we have favour with You and with man. You supply all of our needs according to Your riches in Glory. (Psalm 5:12; Philippians 4:19; Proverbs 3).

You are our God and we trust You with all our hearts and do not depend on our own understanding. We will continually seek Your will in all we do, and You will instruct and guide our steps. (Proverbs 3:5-6). You keep us as the apple of your eye and hide us in the shadow of your wings (Psalm 17:8).

We give honour, glory and praise to the God who can do so much more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever (Ephesians 3:20-22). Amen.
