Proverbs 11:21 Though they join hand in hand, the wicked shall not go unpunished; but the seed of the righteous shall be delivered.
Praise the Lord! this scripture is a comfort to the hearts of parents praying for their children. As parents we also stand on Proverbs 22:6 – "Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it." What awesome promises in the word! These are Promises that confirm that as we raise our children in the fear and admonition of the Lord, even if they stray, they will return! What a blessed hope!
As we stand as parents believing that our children will return to the Lord before they die, there is a word of caution for children who knowingly engage in sin in Galatians 6:7 “Be not deceived, God is not mocked, whatsoever a man sows, that will he also reap.” So there is a measure of accountability on our children to make wise choices in keeping with the word of God.
With the many distractions and lust of the flesh today it is possible that our children may become distracted but as parents we constantly declare Acts 16:31 “…. Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.” and Isaiah 54:13 “And all thy children shall be taught of the LORD; and great shall be the peace of thy children.”
As we decree and declare these scriptures; our children will not be lost to the world. “Is not my word like fire,” declares the LORD, “and like a hammer that breaks a rock in pieces? (Jeremiah 23:29). We encourage you to send the fire and hammer of the word of God that will break every “rock” of failure, stubbornness, fear, rejection, depression, unforgiveness, bitterness, anger, hurt, pride and ungodly soul ties that would hinder our children from fulfilling their God ordain destiny.
Speak the word of God into your children lives and God shall watch over His word to perform it. Be Bless in the Lord.
