Awake!

Updated: Jun 20, 2020

Ephesians 5:13-14 (ESV) But when anything is exposed by the light, it becomes visible, for anything that becomes visible is light. Therefore it says, “Awake, O sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.”

When we are truly expose to the Light of the Word of God which is Jesus (In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God....In him was life; and the life was the light of men....And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. 1 John 1) everything that is “dark” in or around us is revealed and translated into the marvelous Light. When we accept and apply the Word to our lives, Christ shine on us and everything that is dead in us comes alive.

"Christ Shinning on us" Declaring Ephesians 5.

Prayer

Lord base on your word in Ephesians 5 I decree and declare that every dark area of my life and bloodline receive the light and resurrection power of Jesus our Savior and Redeemer. We arise from depression to joy; from poverty to prosperity; from failure to success; from stagnation to progress; from infirmity to good health; from the tail to the head; from beneath to above; and from bondage to FREEDOM in Jesus Name.

I decree and Declare that we shall walk carefully living life with honor, purpose, and courage; shunning those who tolerate and enable evil, not as the unwise, but as wise sensible, intelligent, discerning people, making the most of our time on earth, recognizing and taking advantage of each opportunity and using it with wisdom and diligence.

We will not be foolish and thoughtless, but understand and firmly grasp what the will of the Lord is for our lives. We will not get drunk with wine, for that is wickedness, corruption and stupidity, but we will be filled with the Holy Spirit and constantly be guided by Him. We will speak the word of God to one another and over our lives always giving thanks to God the Father for all things, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.
